WHY YOU’LL LOVE THESE AIR FRYER ITALIAN SAUSAGES
- They cook in minutes.
- You can serve them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Low carb and keto-friendly.
- Super delicious and easy to prepare.
INGREDIENT NOTES
Italian Sausages – You’ll need 1 package of uncooked Italian sausages. Feel free to use mild or spicy.
HOW TO MAKE
- Place the Italian sausages in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes at 360 degrees F.
- Flip the sausages over and continue cooking for 5-6 minutes until the inside reaches 160F. Keep in mind that some air fryer models may take a bit longer to cook.
- Take the sausages out of the air fryer and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
TOP TIPS
- Be careful not to cook the sausages for too long, or they will shrink and lose juices.
- Allow the sausages to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving, this allows the juices to spread evenly in the meat, making each bite moist and flavorful.
- Use the best quality sausages you can get your hands on. I highly recommend going to an Italian market.
- Italian sausages contain a lot of fat, which might cause white smoke in your air fryer. If you have an air fryer oven like mine, make sure the drip tray is clean before cooking the sausages. I cleaned my air fryer before using it, and there was no smoke during cooking. Everything turned out perfectly.
STORAGE
If you have any leftovers, place them in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave until heated through.
